DTI to enforce Goods and Services Act B.E.1999 after CDR’s 8th announcement lifted

The Director-General of the Department of Internal Trade (DTI) indicates that DTI will enforce the 1999 Goods and Services Act again after the government revokes the 8th announcement of the Council for Democratic Reform (CDR).

The CDR’s 8th announcement concerns the control of commodity prices.

Siripol Yodmuangcharoen (ศิริพล ยอดเมืองเจริญ), the DTI director-general, reveals that at present there are 35 items of commodity in a commodity control list and 200 items in a monitor list in line with the 8th announcement.
