Prawit tells Yingluck to come out

Deputy Prime Minister Prawit Wongsuwan today ( Thursday) called on fugitive Yingluck Shinawatra to come out and say where she is as Thai police have asked Interpol to issue “Red Notice” for her.

 

The Thai police now believe Yingluck is in London. The United Arab Emirates had notified Thai authorities that Yingluck had left Dubai for the UK on September 11.

 

Asked to comment on Yingluck’s whereabout in which latest report said she is now in London, Gen Prawit said he had no information either of her whereabouts or of government in exile.

For a minute on reading the headline I thought he was saying she is now gay, or did he mean probably happy.

 

That will be the next thing she will be politicly persecuted for by the rabble that support this silly decrepid old man who wants to engage the brain before the mouth if he has one. Move on mate she has gone and that is the end of it for now.

The map the Thai law enforcement authorities are using in trying to locate Yinluck is in English.   Until that map is translated into Thai and the authorities take a world geography lesson the authorities will continue to look within Thailand only.

whole thing is one big charade; not even a quality one by thai standards

The PM stated only the other day "I know where she is" maybe he should let his deputy in on it

A real embarrassment for Thailand to have a deputy PM like this old dinosaur.

Has he forgotten he does not care and no-one else does either unless he, himself, keeps it in the news?

He has probably come to realise that Yingluck won't be extradited because she has not been convicted of and sentenced for anything that would be a crime in the UK..... so falls back on expecting her to follow the orders of his generalship. In doing so he only strengthens her case for political asylum, which may, or may not, be his intention.

Yes of course it suited them that Yingluk exited stage right but methinks they did not consider this charade through ie they are backing themselves into a corner like a kid caught with his hand down his pants and the sublime will become even more ridiculous. The last thing they want is for her to be extradited or the alternative there be a political impasse because for e.g. Britain refuse. It's a loose loose situation as it will also drag the unsavoury Section 44 into the mix and human rights. Also how come they didn't or dont call in the brother as well? It also seems all the promises made to the farmers who lost the rice harvests in Isaan due to the weather were not compensated as promised which adds further fuel. Aye interesting times ahead.

I doubt her name will ever appear on an Interpol wanted list.

Interpol are battling to save their reputation after disclosure that many countries have continued to use their notice system, for political reasons.
