Thailand as it should be?: The silence is "DEAFENING" bliss...!!!
Yes, QUIET at any price, is totally worth the minor sacrifices. I definitely agree. -

Thailand Requires Digital Arrival Card Submission 3 Days Before Entry starting May 1
Yes, that would suck if true. Appears to be a poor translation, and the digital card MAY be submitted UP TO 3 days in advance. Doesn't mean it can't be done on arrival. -

Tensions Rise as UK Police Officers Are Taught About ‘White Privilege’ in Equity Training
Gaslighting in the extreme. Being white in Britain is a curse. No PSR before sentencing, excluded from certain jobs, back of the line for University places, mocked by the likes of Emily Thornberry, years in jail for social media posts, portrayed as evil in tv dramas. Privilige??? 😀 -

The 2014 Koh Tao Murders - Who 'really' done it?
That's the problem when people create "personas". They have to be careful about what they post to stay in character. If Bob hadn't changed to Don, he would no doubt be regaling us with a tail of his day in Thailand where someone did something awful while referencing how rich, successful and desirable he is. -

Thailand as it should be?: The silence is "DEAFENING" bliss...!!!
We lived in a new moobahn in Nonthaburi during the Yingluk flood. Brilliant ! Open the windows in the morning and you could hear a pin drop. Zero background traffic or industrial noise. Only birds singing. Amazingly, even though our living room had a foot of water in it ( and little fish ) the power and water worked throughout. Couldn't use the toilet though and at the end of it had quite a collection of poop bags but overall , a nice experience. Bit like covid....another pleasant quiet time. -

West Yorkshire Police Faces Backlash blocks white British candidates from applying
Using race as any type of factor in a decision on who to employ is racist. Pure and simple. Anyone who supports it is a racist. I'm actually pretty shocked that in 2025 people are prepared to admit to this belief. I thought the likes of Alf Garnet were consigned to comedies of the past. Not real opinions that people actually admit to 50 years later.
