PATTAYA:--Jomtien Beach business owners have asked the city to give them a say in the shoreline’s ongoing facelift.

Advisor to the Jomtien Beach Free Zone Operators Sretapol Boonsawat – who also is the head of the Pattaya Legal Affairs Department – presented a letter from 157 businesses and vendors to Mayor Anan Charoenchasri Oct. 4 asking that they participate in the landscape redesign.

Course you can, how much do you have ?

They had no input on the previous disaster of a facelift that saw so many shade trees cut down, shoddy walk ways that collapsed at first rain, lack of any drainage, etc. Why should they listen now?

While they're at it, they should aim those blasted streetlights onto the streets. I live in a condo on the EIGHTH floor and have to keep my curtains closed at night for fear of getting burned by them!
