The critical situation of water in the Chao Phraya river is over as water level in the river section in Nakhon Sawan province dropped 30cm Sunday (Oct 22), according to the Royal Irrigation Department (RID).

Visarn Wasuntharaporn, director of the irrigation project in Nakhon Sawan, said Sunday that the draining of water from the Chao Phraya river downstream would return to normal in about a week if there is no more rain or no more water mass runoffs from Ping and Wang rivers.

Nevertheless, he said low-lying areas along both sides of the Chao Phraya river in Nakhon Sawan which has been flooded for two weeks now will continue to be flooded for a while before the situation returns to normal.

Brilliant, everything is going to be fine, unless your area is flooded then it's going to be flooded for a bit longer so bad luck.

The critical situation of water in the Chao Phraya River is over...

…the Chao Phraya River in Nakhon Sawan which has been flooded for two weeks now will continue to be flooded for a while…

Another case of undetected brain death.
