Booze and Thai murderers are not a good mix....

Booze and people who were educated in a system that makes people lose face and students who never fail, no matter if they attend class, plus the national pride that's being thrilled into their minds from Kindergarten on to eventually tertiary level.

Ladies and gentlemen. I'll repeat it again that education ( or the lack of it) is the key to so many (homemade) problems people are facing in a land, where the majority see themselves as "World Class Citizens", after an education at a World Class Standard School with bamboo sticks.

we know the murderer has been out for one year, but I would be interested in knowing how long his effective jailtime has been for his first murder?

The majority of Thai people see themselves as "World Class Citizens", do they?

It doesnt really work anywhere, putting criminals all together just creates a 'a school for criminals'. Not that i have a better idea. This guy has to locked up for life.

"has to be" - should have been --- more like it.

I think you have to add many more items than just land.

especially in Thailand.

He will be released in 5 years maybe then he will commit murder again, whereas drug users and dealers stay longer behind bars.   Strange judicial system!

Murder a mushroom or two and you get...what was it??  35 years??

You really feel the need to see that clip? I can not fathom why some people like watching morbid acts like murder, torture and other vile acts. It is not pretty.

Where is the hanging judge,  when he is needed so  badly.?

Geezer

He is at the temple now making merit.

Thai justice system is very interesting he is out for 1 year then kills his own daughter. The rehabilitation must not have work very well.

Many people say that "Those who believe that deterrence justifies the execution of certain offenders bear the burden of proving that the death penalty is a deterrent."

The proof is right here. There is absolutely no way this guy would have murdered those two victims, if he had received the death penalty for his first murder.

Sick and tired of reading about killers who are allowed to live to kill again and again...

So let's see now, who should the gun ban apply to? How long was this guy in prison for another murder? Does it really matter?

What? TVF's emoticon selection is one of the best and largest on the planet!

(A wee bit too obvious, this one?)

That's a good start - but for TVF you need a bigger sign to incorporate the definition of sarcasm as well...

I have a better idea, just shoot the bastard. In cases like this with clear evidence, shooting them the next day without long trial would definitely make the rehabilitation much easier for future wannabe murders.

I doubt he was in jail long enough to be rehabilitated in the first instance

Old Russian saying ; the magistrate is not a teacher ,the jail is not a school .

In this case the death penalty would have been better , 2 lives would have been saved.   A murder and out of jail after 1 year ?

Part of his rehabilitation was to watch plenty of Thai soap, and to understand that these shootings portrayed in just about every soap are not real. He didn't get it.

How true that is.. then he rapped the lady he had been obsessing over and they fell in love.

Yeah, maybe they would here too  but how many horses have you seen in Thailand?

Quite a few, but have been replaced with 2 wheel versions, so a motorsai posse would be as effective.

Yep, removes all temptation and it's consequences - permanently...
