RTAF asks public to report ban violating drones during royal cremation

BANGKOK, 24 October 2017 (NNT) – The Royal Thai Air Force (RTAF) has asked the public to report any violators of the ban on drones around Sanam Luang during the royal cremation.

RTAF spokesman Phongsak Semachai reiterated an announcement that drones will be prohibited within a 19-kilometer radius of the ceremonial grounds of the royal cremation of His Majesty the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej this October 25-29, 2017, and has requested cooperation from the public to report any violations.

He thanked people who have submitted photos and information of violators to the RTAF so far.

He went on to say that the force encourages the public to report violators of the drone ban to the RTAF Facebook page or to its Line account ID: @ rtaf so relevant agencies may take action.

Oh is it someone might see something that they do not want seen or recorded

I would have thought there would be an exception, for the police or army to use them for surveillance, but then they will have plenty of cameras set up.

So what about the alleged deployment of anti drone devices?

Or did they realize that the invention of such devices should precede their deployment?
