Just saying but is anone else over the Farang White Bashing 

I've read the comments made and not many positive one's 

But yet marry one get stability Financial not just fo you but who family.

In the end you lose out because can't own anything outright everything in Thais name.

Read a comment that guess thisperson got Gun from Farang or Farangs fault its raining 

I don't know many countries where by if you divorce you walk away if your lucky with just what your wearing.

Sooner laws change the better

Yeah, the laws are shit. Then there's the racism of "if you don't like it go home." As if you're not home unless you're born in Thailand. Tell "if you don't like it go home" to an immigrant in the UK and you'd be in jail for hate speech.

I realize it's easier said than done, but if you pick your partner right then no need to worry.

I'm wondering whether some of these divorces are the result of cheap charlie farangs  ?   he finds the girl, falls in love, promises the world but delivers nothing  ... no house no car, no financial support, no helping mama & papa ...  nada .. nothing ...  then she see's he's a tight ass and tells him to get lost. I'd do the same ....

ah .... but that's not for marriage. So does that mean all men in Australia, US and everywhere who are married and support the wife financially through the house payments, electric bills, kids in school, gets the car and much more .. then they are all "hooker," or more politely, "gold digger."    ?????   strange but it's the same thing ...

It's not the support, it's the expectation of support that's the issue.

The sooner the would be groom will understand that when he marry a local

girl he marry the whole family lot stock and barrels, and forever he

would be the beast of burden having to shoulder the family needs whether

he can afford it or not, and love has nothing to do with that, and

when push come to shove, under the family ultimatum the wife will

walk away from the marriage if husband don't provide. This Is Thailand

And can you imagine approaching a girl in your home country and asking her if she will stay with you on the condition if you will pay her x amount of money per month, buy her a house and a car and support her whole family..

but each circumstance is different ....  lets say you help to buy the house ... you help to buy a car ... you help to pay the bills ...  does that mean i'm with a ' gold digger '  ..  ?

Most men would like to help their partner in whatever way they can and feel comfortable with doing though It depends if that is her primary reason for staying with you and if she would leave you if you did not provide all those things..

I agree with the comments been made its a partnership in most countries not an expectation 

In othe countries you support your family not the extended family 

When you marry you marry the person not everyone else.

I don'texpect laws will change people need too change

If you are not married and the Thai girlfriend would leave you if the money stopped, then that is one sure-fire way to get rid of her.
