Thanks again Ubonjoe.

I have just had a panic, i have completed my form and gone through all of this thread again, all seemed well until I saw in red that all documents MUST be translated into English and stamped by the relevant embassy in London.

The one I have here are in Thai, Marriage certificate, both my daughter`s birth certificates & my wifes ID card.

Surely in Thai it`s ok but not in german, french etc......?

I sincerely hope so anyway or I could have a huge problem as all my other documents are in Thailand :shock1:

Any advice once again greatly appreciated, thanks

That is only for documents not in Thai or English. You have nothing to worry about.

So, thankfully, I received my 1 year non-o immigrant visa based on marriage yesterday.

It was very easy, I posted:

marriage certificate (1 copy )

2 x My children`s Birth Certificates ( 1 copy of each )

Wife`s ID card ( 1 copy )

My passport and 1 copy ( photo page only )

2 photos

Postal Order for £125 plus £5 for return of Passport

Fantastic service, arrived 2 days after I posted it.

Relieved that I didnt need any financial info, was very straightforward indeed.

Thank you for all your help and advice, I will need to leave Thailand every 3 months, 3 times, may turn out to be fun, then i will re-apply for an extension. Then I just need to sign on at Jomtien Immigration instead every 3 months, but need to show financial info (400k) in bank for last 3 months before applying and photos of family life and proof of address.

Good for you.

Meanwhile, the thai consulate in Antwerp said: a marriage certificate is no proof that you are still married.... so they only accept non O based on income.

TiT.
