I think that's probably true. Noone here seems to have thought of the obvious: They have no idea whatever where Norway is or what its weather is like. I don't personally know a single Thai who could find Norway on the map (but I live in Surin) ...

Too funny!!!  They do realize the coldest weather in Thailand is likely to be considered balmy in Norway, don't they?  Guess not.  It always amuses me when the temperature makes a rare dip into the frigid 70s (Fahrenheit) and out come the winter scarves and gloves for some of my Thai friends.  Brrrrrrrrr!!!!

He was found in a room in Thailand where the insulation is nada so the temperatur will never go below +18-20C...

The only way I know of an 'old' chap dying of the 'cold' in Thailand is to have lost most of his blood. Well that didn't happen, did it. Great Caesar's ghost makes Inspector Lestrade look like a genius!

When I die because my ambulance is stuck in Bangkok traffic and NO ONE will move over to get out of the way.... the Cops will likely say, "The ambulance ran out of gas!"

People do die from hypothermia in Thailand, but not in mid November with the lows in the mid 20's, also it has been warmer than average this week.

Are they stupid? (I guess) The cold season here are almost as a summer in Norway/scandinavia we used to have down to -15C and in top north down to -25C 

I was laughing high when I saw this, it is only khon thais who can die of cold when it is +19 to +10C
