keithpa
You may have a drug, with doctors prescription from one country and think that you can therefore take it onto another country and it will be allowed there, Wrong. A person gets tablets on prescription in Australia, containing codeine, and flys to Thailand with them. On the stopover in Singapore, he is in the transit lounge, customs does a search of his bags, finds the codeine tablets, he is prosecuted for taking them into Singapore, jailed for 5 years and 50 lashes of the birch. He should have obtained Singapore Govt. permission to take them into Singas prior to his arrival. Same goes for Thailand before he gets here.
