My apologies AlexRich,  if appropriate, but  for the life of me I don't see how a person asking about suspenders compels you to bring up your preconceived idea of  a sexual orientation?

I feel I must protest about the most misleading title ever in your publication.

 

There I was looking forward with the greatest ever trepidation to  a quick perv (sorry examination of the ladies articles of clothing) at ladies in their undies and I come (pun intended) across a gay topic!

 

This sort of misrepresentation for free gay publicity should be discouraged as it only leads in my experience to unwanted/unwarranted voyeurism.

Perhaps the failure lies with your sense of humour, or maybe you just lack the sophistication to comprehend the nuance of the joke. I doubt the OP gives a fig.

Garters are something entirely different, suspenders are a completely different item of ladies lingerie.
