Today I went to the local post office to ship a non functioning dap (music player) via EMS back to the company in China. I was told that they will not ship anything with a battery by air. The music player was just mailed to me from China via EMS one week ago. <deleted>. I thought items with small batteries such as phones, music players, etc were okay to mail by air. This is the first time I have had a problem.

The Chinese suppliers, have to circumvent the problem,

i have had stuff with batteries sent from China,by Swedish,

Turkish, and Dutch airmail, don't know how they do it,it takes

longer to get the product.

Its the same when my daughter sends parcels from UK,

the people in the P.O. ask her 3-4 times are there any batteries in it.

Contacted Fedex and they came over to the house. Had to fill out a few forms and print out some warning stickers stating that the package contained a lithium ion battery. A little bit pricey 848 baht, but the package is on it's way.
