First we will have Charles III... not the most auspicious of names I doubt even Charles would contemplate putting the country to the huge expense of changing the money and official stationary just for the few years before he dies, if he even outlives his mum. The shame of her is that she has held on so long, and denied him his birthright. IMO she was always a rotten parent and is twisting the knife even now. However I doubt he is prepared to say anything while she lives, but while he might just do it to tick the bucket list, I'd expect him to abdicate shortly after and let someone that is actually popular take over. Also, let's not forget he swore to never remarry, so it would be very embarrassing having "Queen" Camilla next to him on the throne. IMO the real tragedy of Charles's life is that he bowed to protocol and never married someone he loved, but it was all for nothing, in the end. Basil B
I hope Charles would not put the country to the huge expense of changing the money and official stationary just for the few years I have no respect for him... Also do not forget he was was an adulterer with a fellow officers wife. Let hope the next King of England is William V, but harking back to my Boy Scout days, the first thing I had to learn was the the words to the National Anthem, the second line is "Long live our noble Queen! " Lets hope it will be "Long live our noble Queen! " for many years to come.
Opl
"Special relationship in doubt if Trump doesn’t get royal wedding invite, says Wolff ‘Michael Wolff told the Mail on Sunday that Trump would resent any snub and the so-called special relationship could be damaged unless he “gets what he wants.“Trump’s foreign policy doctrine is simple: You Brits suck up to him and enlist in whatever geopolitical fantasy he has going, he’ll give you what you want — though only if it doesn’t hurt him. It is not so much vengeance, rather ‘you flatter me and I’ll flatter you.'”” https://www.politico.eu/article/us-uk-special-relationship-in-doubt-if-trump-doesnt-get-royal-wedding-invite-says-wolff/ http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-5242385/Brexit-deal-doubt-Harry-Meghan-wedding.html Edited January 7, 2018 by Opl
