My mate says that when looking at Orion in Thailand he is laying down!

I have no idea what he is on about but could this be true?

Don't know about a gay nightclub, but if he's talking about the constellation, Orion, it rises in the ESE sky, and traverses the night sky, a bit under the elliptic, IIRC, and sets in the WSW .

 

So if he wants to see it around midnight, laying down would be the easy way to do it.

 

If he's gay & outdoors, he can watch Orion & get rogered all at the same time.

he's talking about the Orion in the sky.  He can still lay down in the bar if he want to.
