BANGKOK — Over two months have passed since military cadet Pakapong Tanyakan died at his academy, but police said Wednesday they have yet to identify the cause of death or hold anyone responsible.

Police launched a criminal investigation into Pakapong’s death after his family, which suspects foul play, filed a complaint on Dec. 19. As of today, police still had not completed the most basic inquiry – a detailed autopsy – a fact they blamed on bureaucratic red tape.

Is anyone surprised at this.

The army has bigger guns. The cops cannot do anything. Sad for the family and such a young life lost.

Their pain will remain until they die,

Loss of face and truth you can not compare the balance, truth will always miss out,

unfortunately.

The army rules.

army and police are , as usual, counting on the short attention span of the public on this ; and keeping as quiet as they can;

shows also what they think of public opinion, and us

That is what i said when that father took his cadet son in to complain to the police about what was happening to him and how he was treated It was like talking to a brick wall The cop he was telling was not even interested because there will be nothing done about it After they left the cop would of rang the Army General in charge and ask a very polite question in a soft tone so not to upset the General and asked " Did this happen to the Cadet"  Reply would of been NO and  dont try any investigation because on Monday you wont have a job Case closed

Keep dragging it out until the fuss has died down a bit.....
