Hello

I am planning on bringing a letter from my  company that i have a monthly income more than 40 000 baht from my home country for the 1 year marriage extension. I am not retired i still working and  have income more than 40 000thb.

What i don't understand is should i make it translated to english ,get noterized & stamped from my MFA in Turkey or just get stamps when i arrive to thailand from my embassy in bangkok?

I don't believe Turkish embassy in bangkok can validate my income without a letter from Turkey.

I understand for uk and usa citizens it is simple process from their embasy in thailand.

what should people like me do if they are not uk-usa citizen who  are not retired and need proof of income letter for 1 year extension based on marriage?

I have asked thai embassy here but they are not sure.

Thank you.

The only proof of income immigration will accept is one from your embassy here.

I suggest you talk to the Turkish embassy about it. I am sure you will not be the first person that needed one.

If the document you get from them is not in English it will need to be translated to Thai and the translation be certified by the Department of Consular Affairs of the MFA.

thanks fellas, i think i will prepare my letter here before i fly, get it noterized and try to get new one based on the one from Turkey. I guess they can do when i have proof from homeland.

a Thai lady living here in Turkey also doing visa service  has asked thai embassy in Ankara about how i can do again and they are not sure. They only inform about opening thai bank about and 400k . So my only choice is to get information when i go bangkok.

At least i got my first Non o visa based on marriage:) which was a little complicated because thai embassy didn't accept bank statement from a week ago they want the current date statement so i had to go bank and get a statement which was signed by bank officials again (too much time)

unfortunetly they do not want  only statement but also 6 month backwards  statement:) . So if you want non o visa and not enough money+flow it is not possible to get that visa in Turkey and some other countries  which lately start to demand bank statements.

First step is ok at least my first non-o visa:) i think i can add 2 months more when i am in thailand if i can't get 1 year extension based on income.
