                                     Unmanned Aircraft in the Category of Remotely Piloted Aircraft
                                                                 B.E. 2558 (A.D. 2015)

Article 5

(2) During flight

     (b) must not fly into restricted area, limited area and dangerous area
          announced in Aeronautical Information Publication – Thailand or AIP- Thailand and also at
          government buildings and hospitals unless permission is given.;

 

This is the AIP Map provided by CAAT/AIS

VTP/VTR/VTD are Red color and you can not flight as per regulation !!!!

 

All major popular Tourists site are prohibited ....!!! (  and more Authority have added some temporaries closed area ..)

Oups ! I push in my post post all information and the link from CAAT/AIS ( AIP) Under the picture MAP

if you follow the link dropbox I creat a PDF actif to simplify access to download

you will access to application Google Earth kmz provided by authority

You have to consider all Red area  from GND ( ground)

If you like this URL may be is better

This flight is a in full conformity with the rule AIP and Law

Ah, I didn't understand how the .pdf was supposed to work.

Download and open with Google Earth.

 

Seems to cover most of the country. Amazingly we are actually in a flyable area, despite being directly under the approach for both Swampy and Don Mueang.

Very strange and curious !!!! No reaction .....

To many people talk to much about record Drone procedure and do not have any reaction about AIP restrictive  areas 

If we analyses the AIP map, 80% of drone owner can not flight really !!!!

that is not minor information !!! Or these people are not familiarized with drone and applicable regulation it is same rule in all countries for example this is the AIP Map for drone
