Rising Baht Sparks Fears of Another 'Tom Yam Kung' Crisis
- Asian and other currencies, like the Australian dollar, are strengthening against the dollar across the board as market watchers see a potential rate cut by the U.S. Federal Reserve paving the way for Asian central banks to do the same. A rising tide lifts all boats. It's not confined to the Thai baht. -

White Culture
In terms of civilized behaviour, when I enter a narrow hallway in the Virgin gym, and Thai comes my way he does a gesture of respect, smiles and moves to the side to let you pass. That, to me, is civilized behaviour. If it were England, there is no guarantee the conflict would be resolved in this civilized way. -

Kemi Badenoch on Immigration: 'Not All Cultures Are Equal'
So the clue is not passing through immigration like you said then? We could have saved some time. Who is Simone? I know what an immigrant is. Unlike you.- 1

Is street food good for you? Old rancid oil. Cheap oil. Food dripping with oil.
And they put plenty of msg and some sugar... I vote with you. Not healthy... and for me, not delicious either. -

Kemi Badenoch on Immigration: 'Not All Cultures Are Equal'
Had any other member pursued this point to the extent you have, You would be screaming "deflection" at the very top of your voice and done your level best to put an end to this mini debate. But you appear more than happy to continue with it today. -

First UK Lawmaker Resigns from Labour Party, Accuses PM of Hypocrisy
IMO there is little difference in party policies now and the bickering is a way of pretending that they are governing while not achieving any change for the betterment of the electorate. It's a look over here thing to deflect voter's attention from the lack of any real progress. -

Kemi Badenoch on Immigration: 'Not All Cultures Are Equal'
It’s a good point. If not having a stamp in your passport that says ‘immigrant’ negates the status of being an immigrant, then surely anyone who arrives in the without getting that stamp can’t be an immigrant. -

Purchase Cheap SIM from Lazada etc.
True has a mobile network tower about 300m from the compound we live in. So I think True would be the prefered network connection. 3BB is fibre to the router. Sorry for the mixup. So probably need a True SIM card. -

The EU's Struggle with Identity: A Shift Towards Xenophobia and Ethnic Nationalism?
Yes this seems to be a theme lately. The people vote for a right leaning party and then all the leftist politicians team up together to prevent them getting power. I don't see that ending well.- 1

Colourful Jellyfish Invade Jomtien Beach: Tourists Advised to Stay Cautious
In Thailand, some of the harmless jellyfish is consumed as food. I have seen such dish several times at the local market in Chiang Mai. -

White Culture
White European culture in the late 18th, 19th, 20th and 21st century developed a technological gap, due in part to accidents of geography, political development, disease resistance and other factors. A gap which is now narrowing. This enabled white culture to, let's say defeat a tribe in another place due to technology. Should this be seen as "strength" of a culture? Take China, who in the 19th century was carved up. China was weak technologically. Now China is strong technologically. Were the Chinese a weak culture in the 19th century because they did not have weapons that were technologically superior? The Chinese then were a weak culture, now today's Chinese are a strong culture? Do you see the problem with this? How do you define a "strong" culture? Attainments of civilization? But these are not just technological. You could not just sump up each technological achievement, they are not all worth 1 point, these achievements differ greatly in significance. Does the invention of the Gatling Gun outrank the invention of the alphabet? Does the invention of Geometry outrank the invention of the sniper rifle? If so by how much? You are on much safer ground if you try to determine if a person is weak or strong. Physically and intellectually. I am not saying for a minute that all people are equal, all cultures are equal, that's not the case obviously. Some people are stronger intellectually, physically, some races are stronger physically or intellectually. But when it comes to "white culture" being "strong or weak" that's a very weak argument, you'd have to make it more precise. What previous statement did you mean?
