Tor Tor 3 - foreign transfer document have to send from MY account to MY account?

Featured Replies

Hi

I want to buy a condo

I don't have money in my overseas account.

Can another person send the money to my account from outside Thailand to my bank account. (from an overseas bank account NOT in my name to my Thai bank which IS in my name) with the condo name and number as reference for the transaction?

Im not concerned about transferring the money out of Thailand in the future. Is the Tor Tor 3 required at all in that case?

My colleague said she can get me a TT3 without transferring any money and would just state at the bank that the money is already in Thailand and get the TT3. Im confused by that. Does that sound right?

The official land office blurb says something like you can be either the sender (in the case you deposit straight into a developers account etc) OR the receiver into your account, or both. Check with your local Thai bank and land office as they may have there own guidelines etc

Wouldn't an easier solution be to transfer money to your OS account first, then transfer to your Thai account.

The colleague option sounds like rubbish unless they actually work at a bank and are fabricating documents, no bank will give a FET without the money coming directly into their bank from OS.
