Multiple Entry Tourist Visa Question...

Featured Replies

I have a 2 entry, tourist visa. I used the first entry, plus got a 30 day extention. I'm going out of the country in a few weeks. Upon return to Bangkok airport, can I simply get a 30 day VISA ON ARRIVAL, and save the SECOND entry of the multiple entry visa for use, a few months later?

Or must I use up both visa first, then get a 30 day visa AFTER both of the multiple entries are used up?

Any help greatly appreciated!

You can ask but it is up to the immigration officer. Also be sure to check the validity of your tourist visa as it will not be more than six months total and you have already used more than three.

I had no trouble doing this at Mai Sai but did have to make it clear that was what I wanted and had to sign to say the immigration officer hadn't made a mistake - so I couldn't complain later.

I don't want to appear thick, but this is quite an important point, isn't it? I have a double entry tourist with 6 month validity obtained over xmas/new year in Sidney. Seems to me I should be able to do 60+30 + three visa runs twice for a total of 12 months or just under?
