This is what happened to these 2 and 3 January, Fredrik Twisselmann , a visitor (and future firefighter)
Swedish of "Chaweng Buri Resort" , saw a person drowning in the sea while taking advantage of the beach with his mother, he rescued her with a buoy and took her back to the beach.

But it's not all the next day, he saved two other tourists in the same conditions!

In addition to helping these people, Fredrik talked to staff and gave them tips on how to improve safety . Like the size of lifebuoys and how it should be hung on the pole to be usable in seconds.

It's good to see that foreigners are not only bag snatchers and other criminals.

It seems to happen quite often and too many people are not trying to help.I rescued a girl who couldn't swim at Wongduan beach on Ko Samed, where I almost had to knock her out because she's trying to pull me down with her.

When we finally reached the beach and realized how close to death she was, the guys from the resort next to us then told us that four people had died at the same place a week before.......

It's a beach where you can walk out for about 80 meters, but then it's getting very deep and the sea current takes you out. There should be guards.

So many people are drowning every year, but the soldiers do not seem to realize that there's a problem. It's time for a real government now that really starts to protect the weakest, the kids.

The leading cause of death in children aged one year and over in Thailand is drowning. Nearly 2,650 children a year die this way, and it was on learning of these statistics that staff at our school, the Triam Suksa school in Soi Dao on the Thai-Cambodian border, decided things had to change.
