Isaan Folk Rush To Change Names To Ward Off Bad Luck

Amazing that these charlatans are allowed to do business on tv isn't it?

Don't the American bible thumpers do it every day, trying to drum up funds?

Yep. They're even worse with their supposed god.

Didn't Banharn also change the nationality of his father after his death? From Chinese to Thai.

Reminds me of the local dark skinned vet who told me last week:

" I'm Chinese", crossing his arms.

Really? Where were you born?

Guangzhou?

Taipei?

Chengdu?

Shenyang?

"No. Bangkok."

Didn't Banharn also change the nationality of his father after his death? From Chinese to Thai.

One of Banharns biggest problems during a censure debate in September 1996, was the accusation from the Democrat Party that he wasn't Thai.

"Banharn is an ethnic-Chinese but claims Thai nationality; the opposition claims that Banharn was born in China but changed his birth certificate to make it appear that he was a Thai national. Of all the charges levied against the prime minister, the questions about his Thai nationality were considered to be the most potential harmful. (AFP)"
