I was in possession of Khun Yai's drivers license and misplaced it. I want to pay for her to get a new one. Whats involved and what does she need to take? I have a photocopy of the old one.

Not really an answer to the question.

   I presume it means a medical report/cert ( Doctor's letter). I havn't needed one since I first got my llicence 16 years ago. When I went for my renewal I had one with me but they told me it was not needed.

Police report not needed for a lost driving licence.Just replaced mine in CNX and all that was required was copy of passport/residence proof(tabien Baan) and fill out a form there plus 105Baht and then off for the photos and new licence.Very efficient.

(I also had a printed photo of my lost licence as well.)cheers

 

When I had to replace mine a few years ago at LTD in Bangkok, filled in a form along with a copy of ID, paid the 105 baht, had photos taken and replacement licence was issued. Quite fast and very efficient.

The DLT Department of Land Transport handles this.
