Tell the UN to take care of the refugees and send them to Islamic countries, not our problem.

I quite frankly, don't understand why they are not going to/sent other Islamic countries.

Would they be better settled and fit in more easily.

Oh, I forgot.

Those countries don't have benefits and free healthcare.

Australia cannot forcible remove asylum seekers unless there is a government to government agreement in-place such as with Sri Lanka. The nearest Islamic countries are Indonesia and Malaysia who do have healthcare and welfare for refugees, but they are not legally permitted to work and face years of waiting to be resettled in a third party country by UNHCR.

BTW, for example, why would you assume an Hazari Shitte refugee from Afghanistan would be a cultural fit for say Pakistan.

Yet another ignorant comment. Hazara refugees residing in Australia are causing no problems.

To suggest that a Muslim centric family would fit better into Australian society over a Muslim one is ignorant. And if it’s because of some sectarian historical bad blood - then again, why would we want them in aus?
