Burglar steals 20,000 baht in foreign currency from Chinese tourists at villa

Tnews reported that a burglar forced a door at a rental property in Plu Villa, Pattaya, and stole foreign currency from three Chinese tourists.

 

The tourists said they had gone out to dinner on Tuesday and returned to find someone had rifled through their bags.

 

Missing was 4,000 Hong Kong Dollars and 500 Yuan worth a total of 20,000 baht.

 

One of the tourists did the helpful pointing at the second floor door where the thief gained entry.

 

Fingerprints were recovered that TNews said would help police identify the thief.

That's great .....  they obviously have learnt from all the TV photos taken.

The other 27 Chinese who were sharing the rental reported no losses.
