Beveragemenu ?

Featured Replies

In restaurants and bars I see less and less a beverage menu with prices, on my question why I was repeatedly answered, it would be illegal. Is that correct ?

It seems you visit the wrong places. I see beverage menus all the time.

Did you ask on a Buddhist holiday for whisky in a coffee cup and then asked for the price list? There might be a reason why the staff would tell you that is illegal.

Sorry I forgot to mention. It's not about non alcohol drinks, lists with beer and spirits are gone and they explained it is illegal to promote alcoholic drinks ( maybe they are right if you see flyers from Teco, BIG C, Makro  no more beer prices )

They want to create a big surprise and sanook for all, when they present the bill to you.

thai licencing laws prohibit the promotion and advertising of alcohol in any media or print form .

you could be fined 500000thb ,like a restaurnt in bkk was ,just for having a photo of beer in there food menu .

TIT.
