webfact Posted March 11, 2018 Share Posted March 11, 2018 PM Prayut speaks of risks in cryptocurrency BANGKOK, 12 March 2018 - The Prime Minister is warning investors to beware of the risks associated with cryptocurrency in order to prevent losses Prime Minister Gen. Prayut Chan-o-cha said today that the fundraising in an initial coin offering or ICO, remains new to many and investors who are interested in it, should be particularly cautious and study all risk factors. Gen. Prayut said that the government has begun legal preparation to regulate related entrepreneurs to make sure that all operations are transparent and open for inspection, and are without any loopholes, which could make crime and corruption possible. Instead, His Supreme Importantness, suggests Thai people follow his own example of astute financial responsibility by keeping their hoards of unusual wealth in safe, secure overseas accounts.
