Ford Ranger aftermarket headlights / fitting Everest headlights...

Featured Replies

Morning Guys,

Just wondering if anyone has fitted aftermarket lights like these and if they're any good, or cheap Chinese cr*p?

I've just gone from a Ford Everest to a Ranger and I really miss the LED running lights.  The normal ranger lights are also pretty dim at night with full beam on.

I'm wondering if it's possible to fit the Everest units to the Ranger?  The units are the exactly the same, the only difference is the Everest lights self-level while the Ranger lights have a level control switch.  I wonder if the self-level control unit is in the headlight unit itself?

Thanks,

N.

Ford must have some sort of electric motor to move the assembly. So ...

You would need the headlights complete, if they include the motors. If not, you would need the motors, and the ECU that controls the level - most likely the same one that controls auto suspension level if so equipped. Which may be in the body ECU, so you would need that, along with all the wiring, sensors, ...

Big job. As the model is fairly new, no second hand parts likely. So buy from Ford ... not cheap

I have a 2017 Everest sat on my drive, along with a 2017 Ranger.  Was going to swap the units over myself.
