Re-entry Permit

Featured Replies

I want to go to Siem Reap from Bangkok overland. Can I get the re-entry permit at the Aranyapathet border when I leave Thailand?

My nationality is Czech and I´m holding 30 days "single entry tourist visa"

I can obtain 15 days visa on arrival but I think not at Aranyapathet border point. I´m also not sure how is it counted (what day is counted as first). If I get one 11th so I should leave Thailand until 25th or 26th?

Thank you very much.

A re-entry permit allows you to re-enter Thailand as long as your "single entry tourist visa" remains valid and will reactivate the visa only until the original expiry date (30 days after you first entered). Re-entry permits must be obtained at an immigration office within Thailand at a cost of B1000.

If you can obtain a 15day visa on arrival I would think they are available at all entry points but I honestly cant say for sure.

The date you must leave Thailand will be stamped in your passport and the 15days will include the day you arrive and the day you must leave. (in your example 25th)

You should be able to receive a re-entry permit as a recent posted noted there was a desk for that set up. The web site has following notice:

Foreigners travelling from Cambodia to Thailand through Khlong Luek border pass cannot obtain visa on arrival at this point of entry.
