Bus/Van RongKlua (Aranyaprathet) to Pattaya?

I plan to visit Pattaya from Rongklua market (border market with Cambodia) by land in next 2 weeks.

The problem is i reach Rongklua at 6 AM and not sure if any vans going to Pattaya from the market? Or i have to go to Aranyprathet bus station and take bus/van there?

I did some research and found only one bus running this route (Yellow bus) but my time out of their timetable. So any vans running this route departing from Aran bus terminal?

Anyone did the same route please help.

there are frequent big buses that go from in front of rongklua 7/11 kasikorn bank to chachoensao
from there should be a piece of cake as it not far from pattaya

this is the bus and location of bus to chachoensao https://tinyurl.com/y9o54faw

After Thai immigration, walk about 200m , or anywhere you can get a motorbike taxi or tuk tuk, say you want minivan to Pattaya and you will be taken to this building which is now a station for minivans .

250B to Pattaya, 4.5 to 6 hours zig-zag journey, arriving Suk just N of Pattaya Tai. Service starts before sunrise with frequent departures 30-40 mins intervals.

Show this pic to the motorbike/tuk tuk driver, if he took you to another place it's intentional.

What about if I want to go from Pattaya to this border? Where to get the minivan from? I need to do a visa run over songkran and thinking about a couple of days in Cambodia while i do it.

My missus lives pretty much on the border and we get a private mini van when we go back and forth.

Nice and new and really comfortable for 2k each.

I'll try to get the guys number for you.

2k for a chartered van would be very nice... no more detours to pick up and drop off the others. May be 3.5 hr is all it takes compare to 6 hours max.

The van at Sukhumvit is only 250B...

There are two or three travel agents on the N side of Pattaya Klang between Second Road and Beach Road, where you can book a shared van that would pick you up and go directly to the border without detours...may be 600B.

Yes it was very nice.

4 hours total to my place in Naklua and that including stopping for a smoke and food.

just an update here these chachoensao buses seemed to have moved to the van station talked about in this thread, no longer the big bus from in front of 7/11 but from 7/11 there can catch a 20 bahtish green songtaew to the van station and the chachoensao buses. else you can walk its not far if you are healthy and its no too hot.

these same green songtaews will also take you to aran train and bus stations and into aran itself near the aran market if you so desire
