With the poor exchange rate at the moment I would like to use my sterling account with SCB to prove the funds required for my annual visa extension. Anybody else doing this and has it been acceptable to Immigration ?

Most immigration offices will accept the funds being in foreign currency account to apply for an extension of stay application. You will need a letter from the bank that states the amount in the account in baht based upon the exchange rate for the day the letter is written,
