Pattaya airport ?
You mean Utapao airport yes anyone can take you there...don't know why the songteaw didn't want to.

& Tuk Tuk's aren't much better

Wife whips around Korat every now & then & is charged a variety of prices, either to or from the same spots

And then they all cry when GrabCar and city buses take away their burned customers.  Greedy Clowns.

CM airport is actually in CM whereas U-Tapao is 40+km away from Pattaya and nearly an hour's drive.

That said, there is no particular reason why any bahtbus or taxi should not want to go there, apart from just not wanting to go there.

There is a periodic shuttle bus that goes to/from Central, and many signs around town advertise taxis from about 350B. Also just about any bus on Sukumvit going south will pass by the entrance to U-Tapao. Online taxi apps may be another option, if they are still working.
