giddyup Posted April 12, 2018 Share Posted April 12, 2018 Developed this bad itchy scalp, particular at the back of my head, and wondering if it possibly could be caused by unsterilised clippers etc at the barber. Never gave it much thought before, but I have never seen anything, towels, clippers, scissors etc, sterilised or dipped in alcohol at my local barber. I only get my hair cut with the clippers, so it could only be caused by them or the towels or brush. Of course the itch could be totally unrelated, but can't think of anything else that might have caused it. Anyone noticed how clean, or not, your local barber is? champers Posted April 12, 2018 Share Posted April 12, 2018 If you only use clippers, why not buy your own and DIY? I bought a set for £5 in the UK about 10 years ago and they are still going strong. Because I don't get it cut the same length all over. I get a #4 on top and a #2 sides and back. I have quite thick bristly hair and I know I'd make a dog's breakfast doing it myself.
