Thai ophthalmologists land gold medal at prestigious Geneva innovation event

A SAFETY zone will be set up in the southernmost Narathiwat border province by the end of this month, Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha said yesterday, coinciding with a media report that Malaysian authorities were hunting for a Thai national from that province who reportedly tried to create an Islamic State cell in Thailand.

Acrylic paint used for ‘splashing’ during Songkran in Nai Yang

He was splashed by some paint colour and tried to remove it from the windshield with the wipers but it couldn’t be removed.

New lottery law seeks jailterm for overpricing of lottery tickets

PHILADELPHIA (Reuters) - An engine on a Dallas-bound Southwest Airlines <LUV.N> flight with 149 people aboard apparently exploded on Tuesday, forcing an emergency landing in Philadelphia as one passenger was killed and another one was nearly sucked out a window of the plane, the airline and federal officials said.
