Latest polls show 53% of Koreans are in favor of unification. That demographic skews mostly to older Koreans who have a memory of a non divided Korean peninsula.

A survey in 2017 by the government-run Korea Institute for National Unification in Seoul found that far more South Koreans in their 20s now oppose reunification — 71.2% — than support it.

Not surprising. I'll bet the various denominations of missionaries are looking forward to an open border though. A lot of Korean Christians.

I think those numbers are changing with unification looking more probable than it did last year.
