Dead Cadet’s Family Files Charges Against Doctors, Classmate

NAKHON NAYOK — The family of a military cadet has taken legal action against three people they believe played a role in their son’s death six months ago, police said Monday.

 

In their recently filed complaint, Pakapong Tanyakan’s parents accused two doctors and a cadet of involvement in his death, according to Baan Na Police Station chief Kasin Thamrongsrisuk. He also pledged to speed up the investigation in an interview today, a day after Pakapong’s family complained of delays.

He was a fine looking boy. The family have been through alot. What a waste of life. It's just shameful. 

Hope they have at least a little success in their quest for justice but at what cost and time is anyone's guess.

An absolute debacle from start to finish, the usual arse covering, official manipulation of the facts, complete lack of care, etc.. 

In any civilised country heads would roll, arse s kicked without the family having to start proceedings for such a series of crimes.

And after it happened Dumbo came a long and made comments to suggest that the cadet died as a result of the beating because he was not tough enough. Talk about rubbing salt in the wounds. He topped the cake with icing after that by claiming he endured similar treatment as a young man in the armed forces (not that I believe that for a nanosecond) but never died (sadly). I wonder if the family could (in theory) pursue a defamation case against Dumbo for that response to the tragedy.  Good 'ole Dumbo... never short of an imbecilic comment. It should be against the law for people like him to reproduce.
