Not only airports. Terrorism led to loss of rights, and constant surveillance of everything everywhere. Phones calls, internet, people and vehicle movement, tracking wifi and Bluetooth signals from all personal electronic devices, banking, reporting or limitation of purchase of certain goods, increased rights of stop and search and detainment. The right to demand passwords Just the use of the word terrorism gave governments the excuse to introduce a whole lot more powers. i don't think people realise exactly how much they are actually tracked all day everywhere. We keep hearing that due to advances in screening techniques, the limitation on travelling with liquids and other certain goods will soon be lifted, but it never seems to happen.
