BERLIN (Reuters) - Leading politicians from Chancellor Angela Merkel's conservatives want to pass a resolution at a meeting this week to reject any pooling of debts in Europe and any fiscal policy without national parliamentary controls, Handelsblatt reported.

Motorists face hefty fines for unlawful lane changing at 15 Bangkok sites

PHUKET: Sakoo Police have reported arresting two teenagers in their precinct, just south of Phuket International Airport, with one found in possession of a homemade gun and six bullets.

PHUKET: A woman who crashed her pickup truck into a concrete barrier then head-on into an oncoming tour bus early yesterday morning (May 6) has escaped serious injury, but has yet to face charges for drunk driving.

Police raid offices of ex-Special Branch officer in cosmetics crackdown

As part of an ongoing crackdown on unlicensed cosmetics, police on Monday searched an office at Don Muang Pattana Co Ltd used by Pol Lt-Colonel Santhana Prayoonrat. Santhana, a former deputy superintendent at the Special Branch Police Division, is serving as an adviser to the company.
