Licences for only 160 drinking water dispensing machines in Bangkok

Only 160 out of almost 4,000 drinking water dispensing machines in the capital have been registered and have proper licences, the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration’s Health Department has announced on its website.

GAZA BORDER (Reuters) - Israeli gunfire wounded at least 28 Palestinians along the Gaza border on Monday, medics said, and protesters streamed to the frontier for the climax of a six-week demonstration as the United States prepared to open its embassy in Jerusalem.

PHUKET: The chief of the Phuket Provincial Office of Tourism and Sports, Sirawee Waloh, has called for better support for Phuket’s lifeguards, especially in the provision of essential lifesaving equipment.

Lane-changing offences nearing 100,000 after four days of camera work

Just four days after a strict ban on the practice was implemented, Bangkok traffic police had issued nearly 100,000 tickets to motorists at 18 flyovers and underpasses for illegally changing lanes to pass other vehicles.

Locals accuse authorities of negligence, pro-mining firm bias as deadline imposed for ending potash protest
