Hello,

I am currently on a non-o multiple entry visa based on marriage from Savannakhet/Laos.

The visa is valid until the 28th May 2018. So I will do a visarun to Malaysia on the 26th and will then

get another 90 days. In middle of June I will turn 50 years old.

So my question is can I go after my birthday to immigration and apply for a 1 year extension based on retirement?

Or do i need to get a new non-o visa based on retirement?

I have the 800.000 Baht since many months in my account.

Thanks

After you turn 50 you can apply for the extension during the last 30 days of your 90 day entry.

You only need a non-o visa entry to apply for the extension it does matter what basis it was issued for.

Why bother with another border run. You can apply for an extension based on marriage within the last 30 days of your current stay.
