RATCHABURI, 24 May 2018 (NNT) – The Prime Minister, Gen. Prayut Chan-o-cha, has expressed his gratitude to security officers and everyone involved for their cooperation in ensuring public safety during a pro-election rally in Bangkok on Tuesday (May 22nd).

The Prime Minister thanked security agencies for maintaining peace and order, while making sure that the gathering went smoothly. He also thanked members of the public for their support and cooperation.

Gen. Prayut stressed that his administration must keep the situation under control, so that the country can move towards democracy and has a government which adheres to good governance.

He affirmed that all state officials are working to serve the country. He called on the public to remain calm, as everything is going in accordance with the government's roadmap.

his version of "all is well, trust us"; trouble is the people have no role nor voice in governance; does that perhaps sound like a military barracks ?

What he is saying is: if my face makes you sick now, you gonna end up in hospital after.

Yes, everything is going according to the 'road map'. This magical, mythical, pie-in-the-sky, democratic 'road map'.

Actually, the only destination that fabulous 'road map' will take the country is into further NON-freedom and dinosaurship (there is another word for it, which we all know  ....).

:cheesy::cheesy::cheesy:

I think he has tattooed "Article 44" somewhere special.

He is thanking the cops for stopping the rally and keeping the protestors inside the university compound so nobody could see them. Least the cops are good for something in Thailand because they are no good at enforcing the road rules Now the justice will be handed out to those pesky protestors How dare they say the government should hold elections in democratic Thailand :sorry:

Indeed, appears everything is going to his plan. The 20 year plan, that is.

The interesting thing is, how much tax payers money was spent on 4.967 police and security forces to catch and control a handful of people. Any other country would have let them walk, with a few police to keep things under control and the rest on standby.

It was all blown out of proportion costing the state a least hundreds of thousands.

junta don't care Not their money they are using

"...all state officials are working to serve the country". I don`t get it.How can stealing about 80 % of the money,meant for poor people,be regarded as  serving the country?!  Or does the general have no knowledge or control of what is going on?
