Theresa May to urge Trump to avoid London protests during UK visit - The Sun

The time has come for us Brits to demand a new, written Constitution modelled on that of the US and containing the same vital safeguards to our personal liberty as are spelled out in the renowned First Amendment.

Safeguards and constitutional free speech protections that Trump could care less about, and routinely does his best to threaten by his constant efforts to whip up anti-journalist and media hysteria among his followers, and by his continuing campaign to rebrand his continuous lies as "alternate facts."

Best to avoid inner city lefties anyway. They will only swear and throw objects like the children that they are.

I suspect if he comes into central London, the price of eggs and rotten tomatoes will soar.

Right on Comrade Corbyn.   Major protests ? Nah, a few hundred unemployed losers with nothing better to do at most. They certainly do not speak for The British.   I'm willing to be

Too bad General Bone Spurs won't get to see what the good citizens of the U.K. really think of him.

Who the hell in Britain wants Britain to be like America?

The man is at best loathsome   and completely unsuitable to be a president

I am both amazed he was voted in  by sundry idiots  and even more so hes  not yet been assassinated.or at least dumped from office

If i was in UK i would certainly  protest he is not welcome  the sooner he understands the better

PS i am not Muslim, unemployed , pro brexit type nor a student,

I dare say  this post  will get some people panties in a complete twist ... you will get over it:hit-the-fan:

Yes, I also hope people protest his visit, whether the con man sees it directly or not.

I do understand why international people that are happy to see the USA fall into the gutter like him though.

CHELSEA CLINTON: DONALD TRUMP ‘DEGRADES WHAT IT MEANS TO BE AN AMERICAN'

...

Donald Trump “degrades what it means to be an American” citizen and British critics should protest during his upcoming visit to the U.K., Chelsea Clinton said. The 38-year-old daughter of former commander-in-chief Bill Clinton and presidential candidate Hillary Clinton said she believes that the current administration has “not only mainstreamed hate, but mainlined it.”

If Trump motorcade did go through central London he would get a 10,000 Bum salute. Thousands would turn round and present their naked posteriors to him - it would be richly deserved. No they would not be rent a mob, students, unemployed losers, or any of the other dismissive terms used by this forum's intellectually challenged. They would just be ordinary decent British people showing their total disgust at the most vile president the US has ever elected.

That would be truly glorious.

An American patriot in Washington D.C. gave a finger to his passing motorcade and was relieved of her job. The wrong person lost their job in that exchange.

That doesn't mean we don't need them. Or that America doesn't.

I presume you are referring to Trump?

Yes,

I wish him a very warm welcome... :clap2:

My understanding is that a D Notice has been issued to the mass media, instructing no further coverage of the Robinson case. This has resulted in no further discussion of this extraordinary travesty of justice by UK newspapers, TV etc and stories already being carried by online newspapers being blacked out.

Now adjust your tinfoil hat and stop polishing your establishment masters' jackboots.

“Your understanding” is not based on any facts.

The government have not issued a D notice to prevent reporting on the re-arrest of serial ‘contempt of court’ offender and mortgage fraudster Tommy Robinson.

The only references to such a D notice come from the fringes of the right-wing conspiracy peddlers. (Which is presumably where you get your ‘understanding’).

Tommy Robinson is a neo-fascist, a bigot and a fraudster, he’s not news.

Though of course he has a niche following amongst other bigots and Neo-fascists.

Trump will also be asked to have tea with Queen Elizabeth at Windsor Castle, a royal residence west of London and not at Buckingham Palace, according to the report.

Darroch will suggest to the White House that Trump does not visit Britain's houses of parliament, the Sun reported.

In other words, we wish you had not been invited and are not welcome.

Makes sense. Fly into a military air base and helicopter to Chequers.

Yes he will need protecting from the people of Britain who see him for the moron that he is.  Best to hide him away behind fortified fences with full military protection.  At least that will be another first for Trump.  Never had to do all that for an American President before.  Then again he isn't the real thing anyway.

Also make sure he doesn't watch an UK TV or listen to any British radio stations.  In fact best to pretend he isn't here at all.  Such a presidential figure he is, having to hide.... pathetic doesn't come close!

You are not telling me anything I don't know. It is impossible to get official confirmation of the D Notice being slapped on the UK media, although this has been widely reported on social media and by news sources outside the UK. But there is no other way to implement a blanket ban of the sort we are seeing here.

Yes the D notice thing is well past it's sell by date thanks to the internet and access to the world's press.  These days a "D" notice would stand for Dumb and De-funked!

Oh my dear, the magic mushrooms must be a bit stronger than usual this year in kratai...

Well he has not been invited to...

But there are ways, https://www.parliament.uk/visiting/visiting-and-tours/

But he is not going to just walk in to the Commons and tell Black Rod to summons the other lot into the chamber... anyway it is a Friday and they will want to be on there way home before 3pm :cheesy:

I don't need to read comics for entertainment. I just tune in to Thai Visa and get my laughs from the Basil

If not by a D-Notice, how else has the UK mass media been prevented from any further coverage of  the Robinson case. You may not think his incarceration is not news, but the rest of the world seems pretty interested, as do nearly over 300,000-plus people from many countries who have signed an online petition calling for his release.

There's a big wide world out there beyond ThaiVisa Forum. Maybe you should try exploring it.

Erm....

Because it’s not news worthy for the majority of people.

Which is why you have to go to the alt-right fringes to find whacko conspires about D notices and other such nonsense.

Suppose they could close the park...

Or even better still smuggle him around the country in one of these

As opposed to the 'righties ' who show their maturity by driving into and murdering folk !

While Trump is disliked and unwanted in Canada it is our turn to host the G8 in a week. It will be his first visit here as Pres. To isolate him from the masses it will be held in the Quebec wilderness. 2 hours from the closest city. He will likely chopper in from Maine.

Makes sense. The "man" is toxic wherever he goes except for his mad political rallies where his raving rabid fans are well screened.

Yes better to avoid driving on the whole in the UK. His boys obviously prefer the right wing in life and may have some problems driving on the left side !!!
