I went to one of the best hospitals on Bangkok with a back injury , but before I went I did my MRI at this place. You'll save a lot of money and you just bring the images with you. They will ask you who your doctor is , so just find a a recommended doctor and give them his name and you are ready to go .

But remember , you need to be sure which part of the body you want to do the scan , or else it could end up expensive if you have to do another one later.

I am not aware of any good places for this in Pattaya.  the imaging center referenced in the post above is as cheap as it will get. you need top be able to tell them what type of MRI you need (e.g. lumbar spine, cervical spine etc). For lower back pain it would be the lumbar spine, no contrast media.

One of their branches is in Bang Na so enroute between Pattaya and Bkk.

hello, i am not up to the task of doing this in some out and out place,

its going to have to be in pattaya or at the BCH,

so the question is where in pattaya ?

for the spine, its 2 places, the lower back and then also a dm between the shoulders that are constantly giving me issues. i can often stretch it out a side at a time, and i can feel

small snaps as i loosen up the grip, guessing tendons & muscles giving after at the side of the spine

alright, i have been in contact with BCH again,

their policy is to not do MRI without dr prescription,

and no doubt same shit in pattaya, so its going to be

2-3 trips to bkk by the looks of it,

with embarrassing initial meetings without any hard data at all

I took a taxi, when you arrive BKK just use a normal taxi.  But the branch I went to was Prachachuen.  I don't remember the exact location , just have the address ready for the driver.

They will ask you which doctor you go to , so I just found a recommended back specialist online and told them I will bring the images to him .

Then I called the hospital later and made an appointment.

You don't need a doctor's order.

The branch Balo went to is near Chatuchak.

Coming from Pattaya, Bang Na will be on the way. Get off the bus or van somewhere in Bang Na that is easy for getting a taxi.

If you can, have a Thai speaker call for exact directions. if it is right on Bang Na trat road might be possibel to have van let you off right there.
