Doing this now several Years, and have experienced that pretty much every Year the requirements have changed.

In order to prepare my next extension (Will go there next week, hopefully with all Paperwork in Place) I’m wondering if anybody here has first-hand experience from Pattaya Jomtien Immigration from the last couple of days or weeks?

Related Question: Is there a requirement to keep the 400000 in the Bank Book until I receive the final stamp (I have 530000 in a Bank Book for now about 6 Months) or can I withdraw funds during the One Month waiting period?

I have not seen any reports of any dramatic changes at Jomtien for doing the extension.

You do not have to keep all of the 400k baht during the under consideration period. You can take out some of it out for living expenses. People have had problems after taking all or most of it out of the account when immigration checked with their bank about the current balance.

Thank You UbonJoe.

I heard about a form related to the Marriage that can be obtained from the Amphon or elsewhere, but I dont know any details about this. I dont remember having provided anything other than our Marriage Certificate in the Years before.
Also not sure about the Timing of the Bank Book / Bank account / Bank letter. Some say it has to be the same day, others mentioned it could be a little older ...
My local Branch opens 10 AM, so having to go there first to obtain the Papers would mean I will arrive at Jomtien a bit late.

That would be a Kor Ror 2 marriage registry from a Amphoe. Most immigration offices want a updated one for the extension application. You wife can easily get one for a fee of 20 baht by showing her ID card.

I am sure they would accept one done the day before but they may want your bank book to be updated on the date you apply.

I am sorry to hear you are applying in Pattaya/Jomtien for a marriage-based extension.  In addition to the actual required documents, be sure you have documentation for your residence, as they are using this to force people to agents.  If you own your own condo, you need all documents relating to it's purchase and your ownership, including the doc with the architectural-layout on it.  If you live in your wife's home, she may need a document from the Amphoe showing she owns the property.   They may tell you to go get a "fresh copy" of proof of ownership from the amphoe (or not).

If you rent - may God help you, but don't count on getting an extension there, unless you use an Agent.  Part of the exorbitant agent-fee will be passed-along to eliminate these "special" requirements.   Because I rented my condo, I ended up getting a Non-O in Savanahket.
