webfact
Driver missing as lorry fuel leak raises explosion fears By The Nation Petrol and LPG from a lorry’s fuel tanks was dangerously leaking on Sunday after it overturned on a road in Chon Buri’s Muang district, leading officials to fear an explosion would occur at the scene. Officials managed to remove the vehicle’s battery and averted an explosion. There were no casualties. Police said they could not find the driver at the scene. “He might have fallen asleep behind the wheel and caused the accident. So, he fled,” a policeman inspecting the scene of the accident speculated. Should be 10 years mandatory jail for any driver or rider doing a runner from an accident. Edited June 4, 2018 by stanleycoin 6

Popular Post Juan B Tong
Authorities should add a physical fitness qualifier to the commercial drivers licensing process. Any applicant who can run more than 100 meters, or can run faster than the average Thai policeman should not be licensed.

Disconnecting the wrong battery terminal first can cause a spark, so either they had someone that knew what they were doing, or were just lucky. Surely, the correct procedure would have been to get the fire brigade to foam the vehicle before getting close enough to die if it went wrong?

I don't have much expertise but I remember that LPG cars always need some standard fuel to start up? And remember it's about the fuel tanks not a tank wagon. Chain gang style. also put a giant tread mill on the side, hooked up to the electric grid, 4 hours exercise a day on that should get the prison running costs down.
