Popular Post Cadbury
There is no point in them even being there. They might just as well stay at home asleep in the arms of their wives or mia nois. The PM can send a copy of the budget to them by sms at his convenience which they can read after they wake up; if they so feel inclined. All they need to do is to turn up on voting day and raise their hand. Opposing the PM's budget is not an option.

Moti24
At least in the Houses of Parliament in London, they sleep in the upright position. The guy in the blue shirt looks like he may have set his alarm for tomorrow morning.
Sir Dude
This is a funny one....they got busted as to what appointed legislators do in rubber stamp parliaments. They might as well sleep for all it's worth..as not like anyone's opinion is needed. Edited June 8, 2018 by Sir Dude Typo
mtls2005
Seems like the session was quite sparsely attended as well. Private Business? Seems like a low rank, should be General Business. I think "the media" was under fire for reporting the lack of attendance?

Stevemercer
Prayut said. “Corruption is not about the system. It all depends on people.” That is incorrect. Fighting corruption is about making the system incorruptible - checks, balances and accountability. Thailand has got a long way to go if the leader of the country actually believes this! Hopefully it was a misquote or something was lost in the translation.

tomta
That they are asleep on the job is Prayuth's fault. He picked these fine people, paid them lots of money to pretend to make decisions and then bored them to death. Don't blame it on minions, Prayuth. MrMo
These guys are clowns. Not only do some of them sleep on the job when the NLA are debating important legislation, it seems fro the photos put out as a matter of public interest that the attendance level is struggling to make 10%. How much do the sleepers and non-attendees get paid to be members of the NLA ?
