They fell asleep only when other legislators were debating the issue

Wouldn't that be the most important time to be awake as opposed to listening to Prayut?

But then Prayut's appointed NLA typically passes budgets with little or no opposition, so what's the point of even attending the budget presentation? Get a Hall Pass from the NLA President and sleep at home.

They need to learn from other countries.

In the UK (House of Commons) speakers are built into the backrests of the benches, so that our MP's can say they were just listening intently to the debate1010679707_HouseofCommons.jpg.d31b457c030448dd5740a65b8553a540.jpg.

Always "excuses" from Government to cover their collective butts! :post-4641-1156693976:

5555 what a load of <deleted>. There is not a single member in that room that is representing the Thai electorate. They have been put there by Prayuth, who 'defended' the budget.

No defending needed, this is a rubber stamp parliament. No wonder they fell asleep. Might as well vote yes and go home.

One of the nla idiots was blaming the press, how dare they report this, distortion and against domestic security or more of this nonsense
