What Thailand does is Thailand's business as is what the UK does is UK's business.  NGO's have to spout off every now and again to justify their salaries. Nothing more. Of course they could always get a real job? But that would be terribly inconvenient.

 

HRW are a joke. Sadly many other NGO's have gone or seem to be going that way too.

 

Ineffective and really no longer relevant as their value as a pressure group is negligible.

Whereas, the reality is that Farang understands pretty well, but just doesnt think its very smart. It's like an 8-year-old telling his teacher that she doesn't understand him. The reality is she understands him pretty well, it's just that he doesn't understand very much at all.

Hopefully pressure from all sides will ultimately lead to an election but in the end the Thai people will have to demand it emphatically in order to get it done and to take control of their own country. Then the dismantling of damaging policies will need to begin. Its going to be a long road and if the wrong leaders are put into place it could get dicey.
