Thai woman falls to death from Pattaya apartment building

A Thai woman died after falling from her room on the fifth floor of a Pattaya apartment building early on Monday.

 

Police held her Australian boyfriend for questioning following the incident at 2.30am at Min Mansion in Tambon Nong Plue, Bang Lamung district.

 

Police said Wilawal Poolsukserm, 28, fell from her room and died on the way to Pattaya Memorial Hospital.

 

When rescuers arrived at the scene, they found her Australian boyfriend sitting nearby, holding her hand and crying.

 

A taxi motorcyclist told police that he saw Wilawal as she fell and then a loud bang as she hit the ground.

 

Police held the Australian boyfriend for questioning to determine whether it was suicide or not.

Fifth floor?  highly unlikely she just jumped?  RiP

While not conclusive, his demeanor seems to of genuine concern. You can hear him tell her to keep breathing and asks where is the ambulance. RIP Wilawil. I hope for everyone's sake, this was a tragic accident.

well no one knows the facts yet do they but one of the above. leave it to the cops to sort out but from what motcy was saying she either fell or jumped. either way she's dead so we'll leave it at that eh

what do you mean what? they said the farang wasn't there and just called her name something like that so the police are questioning him but according to them the aussie had nothing to do with it, also he said she fell from the 4th floor not the 5th as in the OP

An Australian would most likely count the floors G1234 instead of 12345 as Thais do.

If you were going to jump you would from the 5th floor eh?   you would be certain that would end in death? don't think so
